Our first goal was to remove the trees that were crushing the family crypt. This has been accomplished. The cemetery has also been cleaned up and a new crypt stone has been secured.

Our thanks to Mike Getzandanner for the hours he has spent securing written permission from the golf course and neighbors for the tree removal to begin and in securing three bids for the job. Mike has also continued to cut the grass and maintain the cemetery grounds. We appreciate all of his efforts.

During our family celebration in Frederick, the new marker and the new crypt stone will be dedicated and two anniversary trees, like the one on the family crest, will be planted. It should be one of the highlights of our family gathering!!!

Our next cemetery priorities are to repair Christian Getzendanner's family crypt and to replace the surrounding fence. So, thanks for your initial response. We are looking forward to the work ahead.
